Documentary. Written and directed by Fabrizio Terranova

Donna Haraway, eminent philosopher, primatologist and feminist, has shaken up the social sciences and contemporary philosophy by weaving sinuous links between theory and fiction. She rose to prominence in the 1980s with her work on identity, which broke with prevailing trends and sought to subvert the hegemony of the male view of nature and science.

The author of the Cyborg Manifesto is also an incredible storyteller who depicts fabulous worlds populated by transfuturist species in her books.

Director Fabrizio Terranova met Donna Haraway at her home in California. Based on intimate discussions about her research and her rich thinking, he has constructed a unique cinematic portrait that immerses the viewer in a world where the boundary between science fiction and reality becomes blurred. The film attempts to capture a mind in motion, combining stories, archive footage and storytelling in the Californian forest.
