Ancestral Voices: Landscape of Resonances
Open Symposium on Contemporary Congolese Visual Arts and traditional practices
Organised in collaboration with RAFA - Royal Academy of Fine Arts, this conversation brings together artists and experts together with Clémentine Faïk-Nzuji and Léonard Pongo to explore the links between landscapes in the DRC, artistic representations and cultural meanings. Through works and research, discover how languages, narratives and traditional practices are rooted in life: territories, memories, transmitted knowledge. A reflection on the dialogue between art and traditions in the face of contemporary realities.
